Our mission here is to make sure our reader learns something new and valuable everyday. Our aim to create a commnity for sharing info, tips and tricks on how to stay protected with cyber threats.

MESSAGE FROM EDITORIAL BOARD

There are some people who cannot foresee what is going to happen tomorrow. And beyond. It is a sad state of affairs that we are one of them. As a nation, we are drawn towards taking actions only upon feeling the sting.

We treated cyber security in a similar fashion. For years we remained oblivious of the attacks wreaking havoc to industries and businesses all around the globe. While the world is actively grappling with the issues related to cyber security, we are only beginning to understand what it means to be affected by a virus.

Only recently, some cases surfaced on our landscape which attracted attention because of the heavy losses they incurred.

Cyber attacks, usually ransomware, are now common and ubiquitous. Specially alarming are those that target nuclear facilities. While the probability of physical attacks on nuclear plants is miniscule because of multiple layers of security measures, the threats of cyber attacks are very much real. Cases have been reported widely which generated a lot of interest and cyber security specialists were forced to sit up and take notice. Being a nuclear power, Pakistan cannot ignore the looming dangers. You will read a lot about these issues in pages ahead.

DG Magazine is focused on creating awareness about cyber security. The pages are filled with content that is informative, research oriented and valuable. Apart from articles, there are news reports gathered from all around the world.
